He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Madeline Leonard Thompson; and his brother Jimmy Ray Thompson. He is survived by: his friend Mac; his sons, Jim Thompson (Jan) of Dothan, Richard Thompson of Dothan, Danny Thompson of Dothan, John Thompson of Dothan and David Thompson (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Mirna Thompson, Amadeua Thompson, Brenda Thompson and Matthew Hood.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home (508 Faust Ave, Ozark, AL 36360). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
