He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watson and Jesse Watson; his former wife Sarah Nell Watson; and his daughter Misty Sue Watson Devine. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Suzie" Watson; his children, James Leroy Watson and Mary Jo Dotson (Michael); his grandchildren, Tucker Watson, Clint Devine, Anna Devine, Carter Devine, Casey Dotson and Rachael Walden (David); his great grandchildren, Aiden Watson and Tatum Walden; and his sisters, Bessie Lee Wyatt, Jenny Lynn Morton and Terri Helton.
