He was predeceased by: his father Ernest R. "Doc" Peters; and his brothers, Hilton Peters and Marlon Peters. He is survived by: his wife Nell Allen Peters; his children, Nancy Bewley (Doug) of Harvest, AL and George Peters (Hannah); his siblings, Jean Peters Marsh and Vearl Peters (Brenda); and his grandsons, Luke Peters and Jacob Bewley.
