He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Shehane and Bertie Barnes Bolton; his grandson Mark Woodcock; his siblings, Robert Minton and Gladys Sellers; and his sister-in-law Loretta Minton.
He is survived by: his wife Claudia Kendrick Minton; his daughter Sheila Woodcock (Ken); his grandson Kenny Woodcock; and his siblings, Willford Minton (Claudia), Buddy Minton (Marty) and Sarah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Kidney Foundation, Ewell Bible Baptist Church, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
