Florine Colvin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florine Colvin of Ozark, Alabama, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florine Colvin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Waters Colvin and Thomas Colvin, Sr.; her siblings, Lewis Evans, Mary Jean Colvin Loman and Thomas Colvin Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Trammer Evans and Alma Boykin Colvin; her nephew Barry Evans; and her great-niece Katoya Evans.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Kathy Loman (Willie), Melva Loman (John), Chambers of Greensboro, NC, Leslye Colvin of Dothan, AL, Thomas Colvin III of Dothan, AL, Donna Loman Wells of Petersburg, VA, Angela Colvin Burque of Auburn, AL and Michael Colvin Loman of Aberdeen, NJ; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Crystal Blackwell, April Blackwell, Brittany Colvin Danner, John Chambers Jr. (Cynthia), Erica Wells Jackson (Leonard), Mackenzie Chambers Kennedy (Chris), Don Wells II, Joseph Burque, Drew Burque, Eric Wells, Michael Loman and Manolo Loman; her brother-in-law Melvin Loman of Petersburg, VA; and also, Kaylex Danner, Arielle Danner, Emani Jackson, Titus Kennedy, Tobin Kennedy, Tegan Kennedy, Mina Kennedy, Jonathan Danner II and Logan Jackson.

A lifelong Christian, Florine joined St. John's Catholic Church in 1965 where she was an active parishioner until the pandemic began.
