He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Remus Fain and Edna Maude Dansby Fain; his grandson Ricky Fain, Jr.; and his brothers, Pete Fain, Ed Fain and Kenneth Fain.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Paramore Fain; his children, Becky Louden, Debbie Hughes (Randy), Ricky Fain (Donna) and Gary Fain (Nancy); his siblings, Myra Nell Anderson (Daryl) and Jack Eston Fain; his grandchildren, John Fain, Nick Fain (Brittany), Chris Fain (Lindsey), Josh Hughes (Brooke) and Jessica Fain; and his great grandchildren, John Parker Fain, Maggie Kate Fain, Merritt Fain, Jack Carter Fain, Adam Grant Fain, Carson Fain, Austin Fain, Avery Hughes, Evan Hughes, Owen Hughes and Erin Fain.
