He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Strickland and Tempie Dell Strickland; his granddaughter Kimberly Ann Strickland; his siblings, Jesse Lawrence Strickland (Jeanette), Calvin Odell Strickland and Margaret Mozell Worsham (Joe Worsham); and his brother-in-law Roy Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Doris Arrington of Daleville; his grandchildren, Natalie Nicole McCord and Dennis McCord; his great grandchild Eli McCord; his sons, Michael Edsel Strickland (Donna) and Randal Craig Strickland; his granddaughter Natalie McCord (Dennis); his great grandchild Taylor; and his siblings, Billy Strickland (Myrlene), Donald Strickland (Linda) and Janie Payne.
