It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Lee Gissendanner Sr. (Ozark, Alabama), who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gissendanner and Rosa Key Gissendanner; and his wife Elinda Jones Gissendanner. He is survived by: his daughters, Dorothy J. Gissendanner and Charlene Gissendanner; and his grandchildren, Tracy Gissendanner of Ozark, Elizabeth Colby (Donnie) of Ozark, Edward Lee Gissendanner, Jr. (Michelle) of Ozark and Ronnie Gissendanner (Tina) of Ozark. He is also survived by four sisters, a brother, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
