He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eissie James Beaty and Annie Mae McCray Beaty; his sons, Johnny Mack Thomas, Joseph Johnson and Dillard Ray Beaty; his stepson Larry March; his wife Lillie Mae Johnson Beaty; his children, Brendel Adams of Stockbridge, GA, Laura Lashae Beaty, Paul Anthony Beaty, Randy Johnson of Newark, OH and Samuel Johnson; his stepdaughters, Michelle Gissendanner (Eddie), Sofia Savoy (Johnny) and Kimberly Walton (Antonio); and his siblings, Eilene Kee of San Antonio, TX and W. C. Beaty of Lakeland, FL. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren and eleven step-great grandchildren.
