Debbie Darlington Powell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debbie Darlington Powell of Ozark, Alabama, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Laurence "Pete" Darlington, Jr.; and her stepfather Leon L. Hood, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Philip Allan Powell; her sons, Philip Allan Powell, Jr. (Caitlin) and Matthew Hunter Powell (Michelle); her grandchildren, Alice Powell, Holton, Greer and Payne Powell; her mother Rachel Byrd Darlington Hood; her sisters, Donna Eldridge (Wayne) and Cathy Bedsole (Steve); her stepsiblings, Trey Hood and Stephanie German (Jerry); and her brother-in-law Dennis Powell (Marianne). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
