She was predeceased by: her father Clifton Smith; and her stepfather Earl Russell. She is survived by: her mother June McKnight Russell of Newton, Alabama; her sister Judith Howard (Doug); her niece Kimmie Howard; her nephew Justin Howard (Candace); and her great-nephews, Bentley, Tucker and Tegan. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
