He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Franklin Gibson, Sr. and Elois Gibson; and his sister Carolyn Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bollinger Gibson.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Claude's honor to a charity of your choice, embodying the spirit of service that he held dear.
