She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Eddie, Alvin Hollinger Rance, Isaac and Mary Harper; her husband Johnny O. Sanders; her parents, Myrtice Harper and Sanford Harper; and her siblings, Sanford Eugene Harper and Mary Alvin H. Sanders.
She is survived by: her caregiver Timeka K. Sanders; her nephews, Sanford "Sandy" E. Harper II and Randall "Randy" S. Harper; her niece Sabrina Harper (Tonya Sanders); her in-laws, Odahlia Rance, Rev. Maggie Payne and Carolyn Harper; her stepdaughter Mary E. Jackson; and her cousins, Altha "Beck", Alton Newman, A. Lydell Flowers, Rosalind Flowers Binion, Debbie Russell Johnson, A. Jean Russell Tate, Tauheed Abdullah, Joseph Newman and Leola H. Brown.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friendship AME Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the same location.
