He was predeceased by: his father Walter S. Stokes II; and his sister Debbie Smith. He is survived by: his mother Alice White Stokes; his wife Melissa "Lisa" Stokes; his children, Kristy Langford (Steve), Kelly Lindsey (Robby) and Joshua Stokes; his grandchildren, Justin Langford (Sara), Madison Langford and Sawyer Reed Lindsey; and his siblings, Linda Lindsey (Foy), Wayne Stokes (Melanie), Karen Tucker (Roy), Charlene Caldwell (Paul), Darlene Barley (Jerry) and Gloria Griffin (Zee). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
