He is survived by: his children, Stanley Hammond (Teresa), Carol Knowles (Don), Chris Hammond (Shelia) and Jennifer Ervin (Ted); and his siblings, Robert Hammond and Margaret Funderburg. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
