He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dempsey; his children, Shannon Dempsey (Maggie) of Temple, GA and Sharon Sellers (Steve) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Tommy Dempsey and Ashley Ayers (Robby); his great grandchildren, Kylee Brooks, Lathan Boyd, Jaydan Ayers and Braxton Ayers; and his brothers, Bill Dempsey and Jerry Dempsey (Brenda). He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
