Virginia P. Mahaffey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia P. Mahaffey (Oxford, Alabama), who passed away on December 23, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin DeWitt Mahaffey Sr.; her son Marvin DeWitt Mahaffey Jr.; and her parents, Wallace Pinkard and Mae Pinkard. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Mahaffey and Shane Mahaffey (Tracie); her grandchildren, Brianna Mahaffey and Shanea Mahaffey Carter (Ryan); her great grandchild Sawyer Carter; and her siblings, Neal Pinkard, Delmus Pinkard, Geneva Telford and Shirley Doty.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alabama Law Enforcement Memorial in care of The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama.
