He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Hughes; his parents, Joseph Henry Hughes and Ethel Izora Coker Hughes; his siblings, Tommy Hughes, Retha Mae Hall, Addie Ree Warren and Glenda Faye Hughes; and his grandchildren, Rusty Clark and Brandi Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Johnson, Cheryl Clark, Dee Sculthorpe (Darrell) and Michael Hughes (Mary Lynda); his grandchildren, Shonda Borden (Joel), Angela Gregoria (James), Skip Clark, Josh Johnson, Amy Sanders (Jason), Sara Hughes, Amber Murphy (Dennis), Justin Kelly and Tiffany Hughes; his great grandchildren, Jordan Houck (Trent), Kinsley Gregoria (Adam), Kalee Johnson, Haley Clark, Tristan Angles, Kyleigh Murphy, Heisman Murphy and Everly Kelly; his sister Annette Williams; and his sister-in-law Loretta Hughes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in Mr. Hughes' name to a favorite charity.
