He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Bailey; and his grandparents, Margaret Howard, Ted Gann, Alvin Bailey and Bernice Landers.

He is survived by: his mother Rosalie Bailey; his children, Beth McMurray (Tracy), Dewayne Bailey and Levi Bailey; and his grandchildren, Lora Ellen McMurray and Bronner McMurray. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
