He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. "Billy" Brooks, Jr. and Marthalene F. Brooks; his sister Dianne B. Mangham; and his brother-in-law Howard Sanderson. He is survived by: his sister Deborah B. Sanderson; his nephews, Shane Sanderson and Shannon Sanderson (Tricia); his niece Paige Mangham; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Savanna Sanderson, Bailey McCormick, Abby Bussey, Saylor Sanderson, Caleb Sanderson and Austin Sanderson; and also, Greyson and Miles Whisenant.
