He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue Simmons; his children, Faith Simmons, Heather Spivey (Michael), Rhonda Williamson, Mike Davis, Joseph "Peanut" Davis and Shane Davis (Daphne); his grandchildren, April Barnett (Jason), Chase Kennedy, Courtney Headington (Michael), Raven Davis, Taylor Looney, Josh Looney, Olivia Sullivan, Jake Spivey, Madalyn Spivey and Lauren Spivey; his siblings, Ralph Simmons of Chesapeake, VA and Dorothy Bice of Murfreesboro, TN; his sister-in-law Dot Starr; and his nephew Bobby Star. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
