He is survived by: his wife Gail Gaines; his sons, Gregory Gaines (Heather) and Steven Gaines; his grandchildren, Stephanie Gaines, Jillian Gaines, Alan Gaines, Jessica Gaines and Kaden Gaines; and his siblings, Jane Hurt, Ann Pillard, Phillip Gaines (Joyce), Dennis Gaines and Doug Gaines (Dianne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
