He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Burns and Mary Burns; and his son Larry Allen Burns. He is survived by: his wife Helen Burns; his children, Belinda F. Hubbard (Gene) and Richard Burns Jr.; his grandchildren, Jonathon Kirby Hubbard (Megan Elise), Amber Dawn Burns, Justin Mathis (Emily Faith) and Madisyn Burns; his great grandchildren, Brooks Tyndale Hubbard and Harrison Reid Hubbard; and his sister Brenda Kay Kelley. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
The family will accept flowers for the service or donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
