He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lee and Sceleste Overton Dunlap; his wife Myrtis Eason Dunlap; his parent-in-law Cassie Traylor Eason; his siblings, J. B., Ida Lawson, Lillian Sheppard, Ezzie Tuton, Annie Pearl Rice, Lexa Pike, Lenner Crenshaw and Shirley Rollins; and his nephew Gary Gene Cosper.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Ann Proietty (Bernard) of Oxford and Mickey Todd Dunlap (Timm Leyden) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Jason McCormick (Amanda) of Windsor, CO and Jordan McCormick (Cierra) of Wedowee; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Kennedy, McKenzie, Emma Rae, Maggie Mae, Blakely, Brianna, Caleb, Olivia, Kinley and Kaiden; and his brothers, Denson Dunlap of Roanoke, Ricky Dunlap of Opelika, Jason McCormick, Jordan McCormick, Timm Leyden, Shawn McWhorter and Bernie Proietty.
Per the family's request, anyone attending the service is asked to please wear a mask at all times.
