He is survived by: his caregiver Brenda Wise Byrd; his stepchildren, Teri Lynn Byrd Argall (Tim) and Curtis Byrd Jr. (Taura); his granddaughter Katharine (Chey Argall); his sister-in-law Carolyn Johnson Clark; his niece Debra Clark Ellen (Bobby); and his nephew Trey Clark (Lynnette).

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Gabriel Homes.
