It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph N. Brannen of Oxford, Alabama, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Launa Wright Brannen; his parents, T. G. Brannen and Mae Bell Brannen; his siblings, Gordan Brannen and Dororthy Mangum; and his son-in-law Chuck Delker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Delker and Melissa Brannen; and his grandchildren, Brannen Delker, Jacob Delker and Madeline Brannen Smalley. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Building Fund of Lakeview Baptist Church, 132 Central Avenue, Oxford, AL 36203.
