It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paula Acker Malcom of Oxford, Alabama, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Acker and Lillian Acker. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Malcom Martin (Stacey) and Colin Arrington Malcom of Oxford; her grandchildren, Cole Martin (Marisol), Corey Martin (Morgan), Kelsey Martin Miller (Dylan) and Ashlin Malcom; her great grandchildren, Ella Miller, Jack Miller and Alice Perez; and her brother Ted Acker (Pam) of Spring Garden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory (6340 Old Piedmont Gadsden Hwy, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at the Piedmont Memory Gardens (236 Vigo Rd, Borden Springs, AL 36272).
