He is survived by: his wife Helen Hoffman Hughes; his stepson Jack Hoffman; his sister Dot Lovejoy; his nephews, Robert Durham (Tonya) and Barry Lovejoy; his niece Laura Jones (Rick); his great-nieces, Alysa Durham and Emma Jones; and his great-nephew James Lee.
