He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. Bufford and Eunice Godfrey Bufford; his son Jim Bufford; and his brother Stanley Bufford. He is survived by: his sisters, B. Regena Shirley and Polly Swatts Majors; his children, Nolen Earl Bufford Jr. (Janice) and Beverly Jane Sanders (Alan Singleton); his grandchildren, Shanna Blair (Sam), Cody Bufford, Christy Giles (Michael), Michael Bufford, Ashleigh Allgood (Jessi) and Brandi Bufford; and his great grandchildren, Braylon McDonald, Logan Giles, Cooper Bufford and Emma Jo Blair.
