She was predeceased by: her husband Wardie Preston; her parents, Enos Jospeh and Willie Alice Deese; and her siblings, Homer Deese, Hulen Deese, Paul Deese, Syble Williams and Sara Jo Deese.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda P. Kennedy; her grandchildren, Ginger Nail Carrell (Verlon) and Jason Nail (Amy); her great grandchildren, Devon Nail Turner (Caleb), Blake Carrell (Kaylee), Bryant Carrell and Brady Carrell (Justice); and her sisters, Carolyn Brockmiller (Bill) and Sandra Clair (Al). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
