She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Short and Hattie McCombs. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Pettus; her children, Lisa Cook (Steve) and Michael Pettus (Jennifer); her granddaughters, Jessica Marr (Chris), Emily Cook and Amanda Pettus; and her sisters, Sue Stanfield and Joy Webb (Jimmy). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
