He was predeceased by: his wife Deloris Lipham Walters; his parents, Luther Walters and Sanatha Cannon Walters of Conway; and his siblings, Roland Edwin Walters, Estaline Sellers, Edith Capps, Phoebe Chestnut, Lila Haskell and Linda Tweedle.

He is survived by: his daughter Linda Walters Knight (Tommy); his grandchildren, Seth Knight (Allie) and Jordan Knight Crosby (Brennan); his great grandchild Kennedy Collins Knight; and his brother Gene Walters. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
