She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Hoover Young; her parents, Junious Dothard and Estella Dothard; and her siblings, Rose O'Hara, Odie Prothro, Brady Prothro, Bertha Rhoden, James Dothard, Gladys Ross and Rev. Elvin Dothard.
She is survived by: her daughter Rosalind Cooley (Henry) of Oxford, Alabama; her grandchildren, Derryl Cooley (Doris) of Jacksonville, Terryl Cooley (Nika) of Anniston and Katrea O'Brien (Algernon) of Jacksonville, Alabama; and her great grandchildren, Derryl M. Groce-Cooley, Desmond Cooley, Tyra Cooley, Brittany, Kyndall, Daja, Trey, Erin and Evin.
