She was predeceased by: her sister Kimberly Barker; her grandparents, William, Imogene Cody, Willard Roney and Eva Roney; her fiancé Ed Smith; and her close friend Tanya Brady.
She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Lenning (Chris); her grandsons, Brantley and Presten Lenning; her stepdaughter Olivia Hurst; her parents, Jerry Cody and Marie Cody; her sister Kristi Shears (Shane); her nephews, Matthew Shears (Kyla) and Dylan Shears; her great-niece Lillie Shears; her close friend Steve Graham; and her pet Daisy. She is also survived by aunts and uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (50 Hamric Dr E, Oxford, AL 36203). A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
