He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Benefield; his grandparents, Byron Benefield (Bertha) and Bill Spears (Avel); and his sister Dehabra Benefield. He is survived by: his son Judson David Benefield (Judd); his mother Brenda Benefield of Munford, AL; his siblings, David Benefield (Leisa) of Wedowee, Craig Baldwin (Misti) of Evans, GA, Brandon Benefield (Jenn) of Oxford, Donna Standridge (Doug) of Blountsville, AL, Shoan Sewell (Ray) of Munford, AL., Kendal Cotton (Chad) of Munford, AL. and Brianne Poore of Munford, AL.; his uncle Gary Spears (Judy) of Roanoke; and his aunts, Joy Rollins (Thomas) of Roanoke and Marlene Lindley (Jerry) of Wedowee. He is also survived by 10 nephews, 3 nieces, and 3 great-nephews.
