She was predeceased by: her son Jim Hyatt; her parents, Lee Simpson and Lizzie Simpson; and her brother Gordon Griggs. She is survived by: her husband James H. Hyatt; her grandchildren, Meredith Leigh Hyatt and Sarah Catherine Hyatt; and her siblings, Joe Simpson and Ann Simpson White. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
