She was predeceased by: her husband Colonel Charles M. Stanley, Jr.; her parents, Milton Eernisse and Berlie Eernisse; her daughter-in-law Linda Stanley; and her brothers, Michael Eernisse and Roger Eernisse.

She is survived by: her children, Gordon Stanley, Jackie Muehlstein (Pat), Terry Stanley (Pauline), Cindy Osborn (Steve) and Becky Preston (James); and her siblings, Sarilda Eernisse, Mangum Eernisse and Ralph Eernisse (Mary Ann). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
