He was predeceased by: his mother Sallie Mundy; his wife Elaine Mundy; and his siblings, Inez Smith, James Calvin Thompson and Helen Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Edward Mundy II (Bryan Harber) and Deidre Mundy (John E. Blue II); his grandchildren, Kirby Ray, Blake Mundy (Katie), Brooklyn Bross (Jordan) and Cherokee Henderson; his great grandchildren, Braxxon Borrelli, Bronxyn Ray and Julian Bross; his siblings, Peggy Lang, Sandra Coffin and Gary Mundy (Jody); and his close friend Judy Mixon. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
