It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John D Mahaffey Sr. (Oxford, Alabama), who passed away on March 28, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jackie Dover Mahaffey; his son John D. Mahaffey Jr. (John John); his sister Sue Smith; his sons, Jack Mahaffey (Pam) and Jock Mahaffey (Jo); his grandson Jock Mahaffey Jr.; and also, Hollee Mobley, Erin Mahaffey, Natasha Brown, Amber Mahaffey, Gabrielle Tant and Rebekah Mahaffey. He was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren and many close friends, a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
