He was predeceased by: his parents, Gathren Green and Ruby Estelle Green; and his siblings, Buddy Green, Olan Green, Virginia Green Craig and Veteria Green.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S. Green; his sister Irene Robinson (Dave) of West Virginia; and his sisters-in-law, Vickie Davis Green and Elsie S. Nix. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
