She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Mitchell and Hazel Mitchell; and her sister Mary Ann Wright. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Darden (Paul); her grandchildren, Philip Darden and Katie Darden; her great grandchild Alex Gonzales; her siblings, Nancy Day, John Mitchell and Sheila Mathis; and her nieces and nephews, Leigh Fleri, Thomas Mitchell, Jennifer Patton, Adela Dart, Christopher Mathis, Alice Danford, Sarah Cash and Grace Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to go to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
