It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward McCullar (Oxford, Alabama), born in Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCullar and Alma McCullar; and his siblings, Thelma, Ruth and Walter Leroy.

He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Herod; his brothers, Cecil and Wayne; his close friend Dixie; his wife Oxford; and also, Dalton, Kendall, Mason, Phillis Conaway and Ashley Portious. He is also survived by nieces nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
