He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McKenzie and Dovie McKenzie; his siblings, George McKenzie and Martha Butterworth; and his granddaughter Ashley Brooke Gilmore.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Dean McKenzie; his children, Doug McKenzie (Pam) and Kim Gilmore (Rodney); his grandchildren, Brittney Burcham (Mark), Seth Gilmore (Brittany) and Lauren Paget (Nate); his great grandchild Willow Brooke Gilmore; and his sisters, Mildred Williams and Edna Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
