He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Roberts and Dovie Roberts; and his siblings, Howard Roberts, Clyde Roberts, Cracker Roberts, O'Dell Roberts, James Roberts, Kathleen Roberts Sims and Barbara Roberts Gentry.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Renee Roberts Cochran (Jody) and Wayne Roberts (Leslie); the mother of his children Joyce Hollingsworth; his grandchildren, Laura Leigh Roberts (Toni), Patrick Wayne Roberts (Nikki), Alex Roberts-Sims (Kaleb) and Shelby Roberts (Caleb "Sugg"); his great grandchildren, Anna Roberts and Finley Sims; and his sister Glenda Sue Roberts Pearson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
