She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Paul Gunter; her parents, Zan Williams and Mollie Williams; her grandson Drew Pettus; her great grandchild Chase Fulmer; and her grandson-in-law Kenneth Lackey.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Wells, Eva G. Pettus and Joseph 'Ron Gunter (Sarah); and her grandchildren, Randall Wells, Richard Wells, Paul Pettus, Kim Fulmer (Glenn), Teresa Lackey (Anthony), Tawana Lackey, Tammy Nordan (Ronnie), Joseph Gunter (Cristy) and Amy Garner (Michael). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends.
The family will accept flowers, or a donation can be made in Mrs. Gunter's name to Rainbow Omega or Oxford Church of Christ.
