He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Mitchell and Ida Mae Holland; and his daughter Cynthia Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Mitchell; his sons, Brandon Johnson (Audrey) and Dustin Johnson (Whitney); and his siblings, Justin 'Butch Mitchell (Jan), Doris 'Dot Ford, Rhodia Jennings, Sassy and Emily. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
