With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lamar Cofield of Oxford, Alabama, who passed away on July 27, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ellander Cotton; and his brother William Terry Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Emmie Cofield; his children, Jessica Cofield and Josh Cofield (Taylor); his grandchildren, JT and Ella; his siblings, Tawana McWilliams (Phil) and Billy Cofield; and his nephews, Bo Bowman (Marsha) and Seth McWilliams. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
The family requests no flowers please. Gary said,' You didn't buy 'em for me when I'm alive, don't buy them when I'm dead.' Instead, please donate to Feed the Children, his favorite charity.
