He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Bertie Hughes and Lillie Serena Hughes; his wife Gail; his children, Pamela Gail Hughes Sands of Oxford and Eugene Barry Hughes (Donna) of Oxford; his sisters, Mary Cullins and Opal Roberson (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Amanda Kraverotis (Eddie), Bradley Hughes (Ryan) and Alexander Sands.
