She was predeceased by: her husband George Thomas Vaughn; her parents, Nelia Hughes and Arthur Hughes; and her brothers, Errol Hughes and Jimmy Hughes.
She is survived by: her sister Margie Hughes Bannister of Oxford; her children, Phillip Vaughn of Oxford and Karen Cain (Wendell) of Snellville; and her granddaughter Margaret Cain. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church or The Salvation Army.
