With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edmond Weaver Landers of Oxford, Alabama, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Cleveland Landers; his parents, James E. Landers and Effie Landers; and his brothers, Donald and Ned.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Landers of Lafayette, Rhetta Haynes (Bill) of Somerset, KY, Rhonda Hurley (Will) of Anniston, Eddy Landers of Anniston and Steven Landers of Anniston; and his grandchildren, Patrick Morris (Julie), Carol Beth Haynes, Andrew Morris, Anna Haynes, Will Haynes (Samantha), Kylie Pekerol (Chris), Celia Landers, Carter Landers, Cade Landers and Sarah Cook (Trevor). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Ed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee or Cheaha Regional Humane Society.
